Thundercats are amazingly light and powerful inflatable catamarans with a 50hp engine. Riding one of these will certainly put the wind in your hair as you feel the awesome power and handling of these craft capable of pulling 3g around the turns. You’re not just a passenger on this thing you’re the co-pilot! You’ll be responsible for balancing the boat for the turns on the sea. Not one for the faint-hearted!

Ardmore Bay Tour:
Enjoy the spectacular scenery and wildlife along the West Waterford coastline. The journey is complimented by a colourful history of the area, which spans centuries. This fun and exciting tour takes you along the coast from Mine Head to Goat Island and you never know we might meet some of our marine friends along the way.

River Tour:
Travel along the majestic Blackwater River, Irelands 2nd largest river. Meander through this historic river enjoying the stunning scenery, local wildlife and stately homes.

Powerboat trips need a minimum of 4 to take place.
Ardmore bay tours take place daily. River trips are tide dependant so please contact us for dates / times. All safety equipment is provided.
Powerboat Skills:
If you are planning on buying or already own a powerboat and would like to learn the skills of boat control, safety procedures, anchoring, mooring and navigation. Our ISA certified instructors will teach you all the skills you need to know to maximise your power boating, in a relaxing stress free environment.
