Kayaking
The best way to explore and enjoy up close the beauty and wildlife of Ardmore (other locations available upon request) at your leisure. Our experienced ICU (Irish canoe union) certified instructors will teach you the skills to help you get the most out of your trip and get up close with birds, seals & if your lucky dolphins and whales. Explore sea cliffs, caves, sea stacks and pay a visit to the wreck of the Samson Crane Barge.
If you feel like a little swimming and snorkelling during a trip, we have a fleet of sit on top sea kayaks, which will allow you at your leisure to hop in and explore the underwater wildlife and scenery.
Trips
1/2 Day Trip:
(our most popular) 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 5pm (other times available upon request). Cost €45
Full Day Trip:
10am – 4pm Cost €75
Kayak and Climb:
A full day of activity, combining rock climbing and sea kayaking, and having lunch at the beautiful Goat Island. Cost €75
Sunrise Paddle:
Start your day by witnessing the majesty of the sun rising over the horizon. Watch as the warm golden glow lights up the bay and energises you for the day ahead. Cost €40
Moonlight Paddle:
Enjoy the sounds of the bay at night, and see phosphorescence in the water, as you kayak by the light of the stars and the moon. A truly magical experience. Cost €40
River Trip:
Travel along the majestic Blackwater River, Irelands 2nd largest river. Meander through this historic river enjoying the stunning scenery, local wildlife and stately homes. (P.O.A)

Kids Kayak Club:
Meet new friends and learn new kayak skills & games in a fun safe friendly environment. Kayak trips will take place as part of the club:
Club limited to 12 students to maximise safety, fun and learning.

What you need to bring for Kayaking:
Shoes or sandals (that can get wet), Shorts (swim togs for sit on top kayaking), Hat, Sun screen, Water, Fleece top, A sense of adventure!!!
Optional extras to bring:
Sun glasses, Snacks, Waterproof camera.
